Nancy is a 1992 graduate of Troy State University, where she studied English and Economics and was a member of Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society and Omicron Delta Epsilon Economics Honor Society.

She graduated cum laude from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in December, 1999, and was admitted to the bar in May, 2000.

After law school, she started her law career with the Alabama Attorney General’s office where she served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alabama. She was a member of the Attorney General’s Public Corruption and White Collar Crime Division, where she handled a wide variety of cases statewide.

Nancy started her own firm in 2006 in Prattville, Alabama and today primarily handles cases involving criminal defense, estate planning and probate, civil litigation, family law, and appeals.  Over the years, she has conducted numerous criminal and civil jury and bench trials, handled countless appeals, and enjoyed a rare opportunity to work with members of the plaintiffs’ steering committee in the infamous BP oil spill case, developing models to assess economic damages sustained by businesses and individuals in states along the gulf coast.

In addition to trial and damages work, Nancy has developed a legal writing niche where fellow attorneys call on her regularly for research and writing assistance in criminal and civil matters, both at trial and at the appellate level.
